SOLAS Configuration

For your terminal to fully support the SOLAS requirements, there are several pieces to configure.

• Assign the Units Actions - Update Verified Gross Mass privilege to user role to give users access to the Update Verified Gross Mass form available from the Unit Inspector view.

• Configure how to add the VGM field to your gate forms

• Configure a business rule to prevent loading packed containers that don't have VGMs

• Map EDI files for VGM.

• Configure any needed posting rules to determine whether incoming EDI data updates existing unit VGM values.

• Configure an auto-update to push VGM updates to XPS.

• Optional: Configure your gate to prevent containers from coming into the gate without VGM values.
